Our Projects
BUILDING A JUST CLIMATE FUTURE
Our work is built on a commitment to climate justice—ensuring that solutions are shaped by those most impacted: frontline organizers, Indigenous leaders, BIPOC communities, working-class activists, queer and gender-expansive leaders, and women-led movements.
Each of our projects addresses a critical gap in the climate justice movement:
Making climate justice efforts visible and accessible
Connecting and strengthening collaboration
Developing worker-owned tech infrastructure and organizing tools for our movements
Together, they transform information into action, action into collaboration, and collaboration into systemic change.
Boulder Dot Earth
A Portal for Community Action & Frontline Leadership
Boulder.Earth is a community-powered website making local climate justice efforts visible, accessible, and actionable.
What It Does:
- Maps local climate justice organizations & initiatives
- Shares a real-time community calendar for events
- Lists direct actions people can take right now
Why It Matters:
Boulder County is home to hundreds of climate justice organizations and over 3,000 climate scientists—but those most impacted by climate chaos are often left out of decision-making spaces.
Boulder.Earth ensures that frontline leaders and grassroots groups can easily access resources, connect with allies, and mobilize for systemic change.
Boulder County Climate Justice Hive
A Network for Collective Power
The BoCo Climate Justice Hive brings frontline organizers, nonprofits, scientists, artists, faith leaders, and local governments together—aligning their work so movements can be stronger together than apart.
What It Does:
- Cross-pollinates ideas, resources & strategies between organizations active across sectors
- Prevents silos & duplication, ensuring more impact with fewer wasted resources
- Builds relationships across communities—from migrant & Indigenous organizers to faith groups & policymakers
Why It Matters:
The climate crisis is not just about carbon—it’s about justice. The Hive ensures that those most impacted by climate injustices are centered in the work, not sidelined or tokenized.
Organize.Earth
Community-Led Tech for Climate Justice
Technology is a powerful tool for liberation—but too often, climate justice movements lack the digital infrastructure to coordinate efforts effectively. Organize.Earth is changing that.
What It Does:
- Builds a database & visualization tool that maps & connects climate justice efforts
- Develops tech that prioritizes accessibility for frontline organizers
- Creates a worker-owned cooperative to keep tech in the hands of movements, not corporations
Why It Matters:
Without organizing infrastructure, movements can’t scale. Without frontline leadership, tech solutions fail to serve those who need them most. Organize.Earth ensures that climate justice movements control their own digital tools—rather than relying on platforms built for corporate or government interests.
